Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education. Seven years post qualification experience in welding works in a Shipyard or Dockyard or Engineering Company or Government Establishment, out of which two years should be in supervising welding works and workmen. OR ITI (NTC) Certificate and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the trade of Welder with 22 years of experience in welding in a Shipyard or Dockyard or Engineering Company or Government Establishment.
